Bangalore – 560 093, India invites sealed tenders (separate price bid and techno commercial bid) for procurement of the following items from the manufacturers / Suppliers :

2.         Technical Specifications.  The specifications are available on the website (accessible from the Homepage) and can be downloaded.

3.         Tender Forms. The tender forms are available on the Website and can be downloaded and these will be valid for participating in the prescribed tender process.  Tenderers quoting in rupees must utilize the tender form DRDO MM12-R2 and in foreign currency must utilize the tender form DRDO MM31-R2.  Tender forms will not be issued directly from this office.

4.         Tender Form fee and EMD. The unregistered vendors shall forward the tender fee as specified above by Bank Draft/Pay Order in favour of Director, LRDE and payable at Bangalore along with the Techno-Commercial Bid.  Tender forms unaccompanied either by the copy of the registration letter or prescribed tender fee and EMD will be rejected. Vendors registered with NSIC/DGS&D/any DRDO Lab or Estt / any other Government Deptt, or foreign firms are exempted from payment of prescribed Tender fee and EMD.

5.       Submission of Bids. The duly completed Bids (Techno-Commercial Bid and price bid) in all respects, as per the instructions contained in PART II, will be received upto 1600 hours of the last date indicated above. The techno commercial bid will be opened at 1000 hours on the next working day.  Tenders   received late will not be considered.  The Director, LRDE, reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof.

(a)              Indian firms can only quote against the open tender and shall quote in Indian Rupees on FOR Bangalore basis.

(b)              Foreign firms and Indian firms can quote against the Global tender.  Indian firms shall quote in Indian rupees only on FOR Bangalore basis and foreign firms in FE only on FCA basis.  Foreign firms having their own office in India can quote in respective country currency/EURO or in Indian rupees.

6.    Vendors are advised to study the terms and conditions given PART II prior to completion and submission of bids.
